Superscript builds the world's largest digital asset broking team

We're extremely excited to announce that we have recently welcomed not one, but two new web3 experts to our digital assets team - making it the largest dedicated digital assets broking team in the world.

The additions of Mark Titmarsh from Malca-Amit, and John Kamal from Elliptic, grows our dedicated digital assets team to a compliment of seven crypto experts, all providing first-class insurance expertise in crypto, blockchain and web3.

Joining Superscript in August, Mark Titmarsh was previously Head of Digital Assets at Malca-Amit - the world-leading security, logistics and operations provider for luxury and high-value assets. Prior to Malca, he spent a decade in the insurance industry as an underwriter at Aviva. With two areas of expertise, he will lead on both custody risk transfer and safeguarding of digital assets. Titmarsh will be heading up Superscript’s custody insurance proposition and will be working with top custodians and insurers to solve the insurance capacity crisis plaguing the digital asset ecosystem.

John Kamal joins from Elliptic, the leading blockchain and crypto analytics brand, where he previously worked as Crypto Threat Analyst. As a part of the digital assets team, he brings a solid knowledge in crypto risk management, cyber threat analysis and regulatory compliance.

Our aim is to bridge the gap between the insurance industry and the web3 ecosystem, insuring the previously uninsurable, by blending web3 and insurance expertise in a way not seen anywhere else.
